Red Heart Huggie Hoops

They are cute and haven’t tarnished. I wear them in the shower. They haven’t caused any irritation. Comfortable to wear. They seem a little like costume jewelry but still like them. Only annoying thing is the heart is heavy so it doesn’t stay up like it should.

I ordered this pair of gold-tone hoops in the “6×6 mm Heart-Shaped Red” version. They are really cute in person. The gemstones are a translucent, saturated red and feature a delicate millgrain border around the zircon heart. They’re not the most fiery zircon crystals, but they do sparkle nicely whenever light hits them directly.The gold tone metal is bright and shiny. It’s a bit warmer in tone than my own solid 14k pieces, but it isn’t so brassy that I can’t wear them with my other jewelry or anything. Measuring about 6mm across- they are relatively small hoops. In my opinion they are best suited for second and third lower lobe piercings, or perhaps as a main lower-lobe hoop for a child or adult with very small ears.The hoops latches open easily and close securely. So far I haven’t had any issues like itching, irritation, tarnishing, etc. While not necessarily competitive- when considering the materials, quality of construction, and comparable market options- I personally feel that $16.99 is a reasonable price for this pretty set of hoop earrings.
